He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. - John Stuart Mill
I really reckon that those who stick to one brand of clothing, to one particular style, or to simply ONE THING, they are really limiting their self and that they're missing out on great possibilities or finding a so much better outfit at a different store. Or looking even more unbelievable in that dress that they usually wouldn't wear.
I mean having your own sense of style is important, but that doesn't mean you must neglect the thousands of other type os styles out there.
If you're scared of a fashion faux pas, and you're afraid of the risk you'll take to look bold & daring..
Well you don't deserve to live in this hectic world of fashion.
Okay I was kidding.
I'm just saying..
Get out there try different clothes, change your hair every 6 months, visit a store you've never been to, wear that little black dress to the groceries (I don't know with you, but I would definitely do that) & experiment with different looks.
I'm afraid that this has turned into more of a ranting rather than a philosophical blog post.
Though, as my teacher has said.. anything that requires thinking is considered philosophy.
& I have put a lot of thought into this, therefore I will stick with it.
